International Conference on Vocational Higher Education (ICVHE) is a yearly vocational applied science conference, a prestigious event organized with the motivation to provide an excellent international platform for the academicians, researchers, and budding scholars around the world to share their research findings and to explore an international linkage for the future collaborations. This conference was organized by the Vocational Education Program, Universitas Indonesia. The 2nd ICVHE conference discussed the recent improvements and challenges in vocational education and how it has affected the implementation of vocational education in the country and beyond. It aims to facilitate researchers in generating new ideas, which can then be discussed and debated among delegates. Moreover, the ideas that were presented at this event hopefully might get translated into policy and actions that will contribute to advancing vocational education in Indonesia and other countries. This conference was fully supported by the Research and Community Engagement Directorate of Universitas Indonesia, which has continued giving its generous support for a better vocational program in Universitas Indonesia. 

Conference topics: Vocational Education Training (VET) policy and reforms that are currently needed; qualifications, training products, and future skills; apprenticeship and traineeship; work-integrated learning on industrial needs; the relationship between development and vocational education; and a strategic partnership between industrial stakeholders.
