This collection contains selected papers from the 3rd International Conference on Intellectuals’ Global Responsibility (ICIGR) 2021 held in Sidoarjo, Indonesia on the 7th of December 2021. This event was hosted by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo in partnership with Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Ahmad Dahlan Lamongan.

The conference brought together researchers, scholars, academics and practitioners from various disciplines to share their thoughts on and experiences in promoting public welfare and justice, and how society can partake in efforts to make the world a better place after the COVID-19 pandemic.

This KnE Social Sciences collection contains 60 peer-reviewed papers covering topics from the humanities, economics, social sciences, and education. With a common theme of post-COVID-19 pandemic issues, the researchers discuss the different challenges faced during the pandemic and examine the potential solutions for them. Researchers analyse a broad range of topics, from e-learning platforms utilised in schools and the role of blended learning in developing student engagement and motivation, to the effect of school principals’ leadership styles on teacher performance and the use of green marketing and ecotourism for boosting the economy.

These papers will be of interest to academics, students and professionals researching and working towards improving public welfare in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era.
