The conference on Biological Resources Development and Environmental Management was dedicated to the discussion of the important modern-day problems such as nature preservation in the marine areas and land reclamation in the northern zones. These topics are of great practical importance both for the academy and decision-makers in northern Russia and countries of Northern Europe. The reports and discussion were organized into three sessions: Aquatic Biological Resources, Biotechnology and Aquaculture; Ecology and Environmental Management; and Hydrobionts and Agricultural Raw Materials Processing Equipment and Technology. This edited volume contains the most significant and quality papers based on the studies that were presented and discussed within the event.
