This collection contains selected papers from The 4th International Conference on Governance, Public Administration, and Social Science (ICoGPASS) held in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 16, 2022. This event was hosted by the NIPA-School of Administration and Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA) as Co-Host.

The conference was held to expand on the international collaborative network between academics, professionals, scientists, and students, who came together to explore new advances in theoretical, experimental, and applied research on the conference’s topic, ‘Recover together, recover stronger: Digital Governance in Development Policy, Human Resource Management, and Public Sector Economics to Support Indonesia's Recovery’.

This KnE Social Sciences collection contains 44 peer-review papers that explore solutions for developing societies looking to recover from the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic not only left medical services and welfare systems overstretched, it also impacted many other facets of life, including human resource management and sustainable development practises. By merging traditional community values with technological innovations, the aim of this issue is to cultivate a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to Indonesia’s development in a post-COVID era.

These papers will be of interest to academics, students, or professionals researching or working in administration, policy, politics, government, economy, creative economy, and digitalization innovation.
