This conference was held to bring together leaders in modern Islamic jurisprudence to explore the intersections of Islamic Law with the evolving landscape of technological advancements in Society 5.0.

This collection contains 60 peer-reviewed papers that explore Islamic Law within a modern context. Society 5.0 has brought on several advancements and shifts in the way that we interact with systems and each other, both in the private and public sphere. While these developments certainly have the potential to help humanity develop more productive and efficient ways of existence, Muslim legal experts have recently emphasised the importance of maintaining a strong exchange between religious tradition and modern societal infrastructures. From constitutional and family law to Halal industry practices and gender relations, this collection dives into multiple facets of a functioning society and debates the need for Islamic Law to remain adaptable to evolving technological trends and their influence on our systems and relationships.

These papers will be highly valuable for academics, students, and professionals engaged in research or practical work related to various aspects of Islamic Law, with a specific focus on Islamic Constitutional Law, Family Law, and Islamic Economic Law.
