This collection contains selected articles from the 3rd International Conference on Business, Economics, and Sustainability Science (BESS) 2023 held in Malang, on June 27th, 2023. This event was hosted by the Department of Development Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Negeri Malang.
The conference brought together experts in the fields of economics and business management to discuss pathways towards accelerating economic growth and resilience in the post pandemic era.
The KnE Social Sciences collection contains 50 peer-review articles that explore factors influencing economic growth post-COVID 19, including rising unemployment rates and cost of living, inflation, and income disparity. Articles in this collection focus on promoting economic growth and building resilience in this context, with studies on the potential uses of fintech, entrepreneurial learning, and social media to maximize growth and influence customer purchases. Scholars also highlight the importance of using locally sourced materials, like bamboo, as the backbone for businesses and examine other models for sustainable economic growth.
