This KnE Social Sciences collection contains 36 peer-review articles that tackle the elaborate social and economic systems found within green economies. Green economies are defined by their low-carbon, resource-efficient and socially inclusive economic activity. The green revolutions of the early 20th century catalysed a shift in the public consciousness, calling for a reimagining of the ways that we engage with the environment and social welfare towards more progressive and equitable policies. Green economies act as an answer to these calls, yet flaws in its implementation urges scholars to continue to develop innovative and improved ways to explore these new models. Articles within this collection offer insights into conversations and practical solutions dealing with protecting natural and human resources, improving quality of life for populations in poverty, and prioritising sustainable business practices across various industries.

These papers will be of interest to academics, students or professionals researching or working on Green Economics, Management, and Accounting Fields.
