This collection contains selected papers from the International Convention-2019 hosted by the Ural Institute of Humanities at the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg, Russia on May 20-23, 2019. Under the aegis of the International Convention-2019, two scientific events were held: International Research Forum Polylingism and Multiculturalism in the Post-Literacy Age and Magic/Mania of History: The Past instead of the Present and the Future.

This combined collection contains 36 papers. Topics include multilingual education models, multicultural educational environments, new literacy, multimodal and multilingual literacy, critical literacy, cultural imperialism, cultural memory, cultural anthropology, and mass culture (TV series), modern Russian literature, modern Russian history, modern Russian cinema.
