Science and Technology Research Symposium (SIRES)

This collection contains selected papers from the Science and Technology Research Symposium (Social Sciences Track). The Symposium was held in Bandung, Indonesia on the 15th of September 2021, and was hosted by the Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM Universitas Islam Bandung, Unisba).

Organised to bring scientists, engineers, practitioners, students, researchers and policy makers together, the Symposium facilitated the exchange of ideas and discussion of new developments relating to science and technology innovations impacting social sciences across the region.

This KnE Social Sciences collection contains 27 peer-reviewed papers. Key themes include the use of digital learning tools in high schools; environmentally friendly approaches in office environments with regards to manufacturing, waste management, and energy efficiency; and technological developments undertaken as part of Indonesia’s Industrial Revolution 4.0 initiative.

This collection contains selected papers from the 3rd International Conference on Geography and Education (ICGE). The event was held in Malang, Indonesia on the 29 of July 2021, and was hosted by Department of Geography, Universitas Negeri Malang.

This collection contains selected papers from the 2nd Virtual Conference on Social Science in Law, Political Issue and Economic Development held in Sidoarjo, Indonesia on the 15th of December 2021.
