The conference was held to gather and disseminate research on the importance of community in developing psychological wellbeing in children and adolescents.
The KnE Social Sciences collection contains 50 peer-reviewed articles on the impact of school environments upon child development. In today’s digitalised world, children and adolescents are faced with more social influences and pressure than ever before. As young people battle with issues of body image, a growing global mental health crisis, and the impact of volatile socioeconomic systems on their family lives, psychologists are eager to uncover new ways to prevent and support psychological dysfunction through applied psychology research. This conference was held to bring together leaders in modern Islamic jurisprudence to explore the intersections of Islamic Law with the evolving landscape of technological advancements in Society 5.0.
