This collection contains selected papers from the1st International Office Conference held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on the 3rd and 4th of December 2021. This event was hosted by the Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Padjajaran, Forum Kantor Urusan Internasional, Directorate of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Indonesia.
The conference was held to discuss the strategies to expand the universities’ global networks and strengthen their international offices.
This KnE Social Sciences collection contains 10 peer-reviewed papers focused on the internationalisation of Indonesian universities, students’ global mobility, and cultural and academic immersions. Researchers discuss the benefits of building a strategic alliance and partnership with international institutions, the 21st-century skills that students need, and the idea of virtual summer exchange programmes.
These papers will be of interest to academics, students and professionals researching or working in the fields of international student and office management and student exchange programmes.
