Measurement of Trauma Based on Exponential Injury Severity Score from Anger Management

Abstract

Anger is an emotional trauma experienced by a person inflicted with external harm, such as abusive words and experienced injustice by an individual. Its management can exhibit the degree of trauma felt by a person. This paper aimed to measure the symptoms of aggressiveness brought by a series of recall by the individual. Cognitivebehavioral intervention (CBI) was a tool used to mitigate post-traumatic symptoms brought by exposure risk to emotional harm. A 33-year-old Asian man had experienced moral injury to the extent of losing significant weight in a span of 8 months resulting from being obese to a normal body mass index (BMI) as a result of his anger management. Exponential Injury Severity Score (EISS) in reference to Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) system showed that the 33-year-old Asian man had suffered severe injury with a score of 5.29 near to a 6.0 maximal score. Thus, anger management using CBI can be utilized a person to release negative emotions resulting to optimum quality of life and health.
