Aims and Scopes

The Gulf Education and Social Policy Review seeks to support scholarship in the region, addressing the dissemination gap and encouraging critical, data-driven reflection, evaluation, and contextualization of the myriad factors, influences, and rapid reforms that are taking place in the Gulf’s complex developmental landscapes. The journal supports emerging regional academics, presents the Gulf region as a fruitful area of study for established international scholars, and penetrates the silos of different educational actors to inform best practices and agendas worldwide. In line with this, the journal provides publishing support for local and regional conferences, including biannual meetings of the Gulf Comparative Education Society.

In line with this, its publishing platform from Knowledge E is a part of the SHERPA/RoMEO database, and it is a RoMEO blue journal.
