Abstract:

Academic buoyancy refers to students’ ability to cope with academic challenges and remain engaged in learning despite difficulties. Academic buoyancy relates to students’ ability to face and overcome daily academic challenges in inclusive schools for children with special needs, and improving academic buoyancy is essential to support their academic success. Effective interventions can help these students manage academic stress and improve their resilience. This review found that several interventions that can improve the academic buoyancy of students with special needs are the effectiveness of social skills training, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and teacher-led interventions are common problems. It has been proven that these interventions improve students’ resilience, problem-solving skills, and academic engagement. This study uses a literature review method with the search engines Open Knowledge, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Publish, or Perish. The criteria used are articles in English or Indonesian that discuss the same research topic and subject and were published from 2010 to 2024.
