People with epilepsy may feel anxiety and even depression about their life, which can have an impact on productivity. This study aimed to identify factors affecting the quality of life of epilepsy patients. This study used a cross-sectional design with consecutive sampling and 100 respondents. The analysis used the Chisquare test and logistic regression. The results indicated that the majority of people with epilepsy in the study had a low quality of life (62 people, 62%) and the most influential factor affecting the quality of life was seizure type (odds ratio = 9.716, p = 0.001). Based on the findings, it can be concluded that education level, seizure frequency, type of seizure, stigma and medication adherence are factors that can affect the quality of life in epilepsy patients. Nurses can provide education on the management of seizures to epilepsy patients and their families, to improve the quality of life of people with epilepsy. Keywords: determinant factors, quality of life, epilepsy ER -
