Prof. Nazik Elmalaika Obaid Seid Ahmed Husain is the Director of Medical Education Development Center (MEDC), Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Omdurman Islamic University, Khartoum, Sudan. She is a well-experienced Medical Educator with a proven track record of more than 20 years in teaching pathology and pathophysiology of diseases for both under and postgraduate medical students. Together with her research group, she has published many articles in reputable national and international medical journals and received many research funds. Furthermore, she is a competent consultant pathologist at the first and largest Oncology Hospital in Africa, Khartoum Oncology Hospital, formerly Radiation and Isotope Center (RICK).
Currently, she is the Editor-in-Chief of the Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences (SJMS), and a peer-reviewer for several international journals of high repute.
